Palmetto Homes has provided a viable solution implemented a resourceful program which teaches youth how to build homes through a successful mentorship relationship which fundamentally strengthen’s a youth’s self-esteem and enriches them with job-skills and life-skills that will increase their chances for good success.
Supporting Youth In Crisis
Many of the at-risk youth we assist come from disadvantaged backgrounds where there is low income, poverty, stressful family environtments, drug abuse and crimes. These circumstances contribute to the high rates of delinquent behavior. This is what Palmetto Homes Urban Development provides support to assist the youth in building a more stable life and promising future.
Beating Statistics
At-risk youth have a higher incidence of becoming a statistic than youth who come from higher-income homes and communities. Palmetto Homes Urban Development program lowers this percentage and lowers the incidence of behavioral problems.
Strategic Mentorship
It is easier for at-risk youth to get “off-track” and the Palmetto Homes Urban Development program gives youth the ability to navigate daily challenges in order that they may set positive goals for their educational and professional future.
